It is time to celebrate the arrival of spring at the Dubai Hills Weekend this Friday (March 30)!

Themed ‘Spring is in the Air’, the outdoor event will feature a range of fun activities for the whole family at Dubai Hills Estate, the master-planned green oasis by Emaar.

The not-to-be-missed event is the second-last of the Dubai Hills Weekend season, which has already welcomed thousands of visitors for exciting festivities. Several fun-filled activities are in store with delectable food options including soft and selected beverages, outdoor cinema, a petting zoo, oversized inflatable props, spring-themed decorative items, live DJ and more from 2pm to 10pm.

Further, children can learn all about the art and science of gardening and preparing flower pots at a special workshop. The arts and crafts events are tailored to celebrate spring with children to make ‘birds of hope’, flower bands and baskets. The face painting session will feature flowers adding a dash of sparkle. Little ones can also turn into bird watchers and butterfly spotters. In vintage explorer style, they will go about in hats and magnifying glasses, and finish the journey winning an explorer star.

Not to be missed is the ‘unicorn’ dressed in pastel ribbons and birds, while a dedicated petting zone will promote interaction and kindness towards animals. There is more in store for children as they make flower chopped candies and decorate cookies wearing chef’s hats. For the art enthusiasts, there is also an art lab where they create miniature canvases. Two outdoor screenings of popular films – Moana and The Boss Baby – will add to the joy of the visitors.

Dubai Hills Estate is one of the largest master-planned destinations by Emaar, in the city which will feature an 18-hole championship golf course, the Dubai Hills Mall as well as vast stretches of landscaped parks including Dubai Hills Park, gardens, winding walkways, and extensive open areas.

Defining the value proposition of ‘where life is extraordinary,’ Dubai Hills Estate, which is equivalent to the size of about 1,550 football pitches, is part of Mohammed bin Rashid City (MBR City), and centrally located between Downtown Dubai on the north and Arabian Ranches in the south.
