Innovation Challenge

In 2022, Emaar launched the Emaar Innovation Challenge, an international-level competition aimed at inspiring and enlisting the help of start-ups from around the world to apply their technology skills and creativity to develop construction and sustainability innovation solutions which will create value for society and development while helping Emaar meet its Global Sustainable Development Goals.

With every edition, the challenge receives hundreds of submissions yielding innovative ideas from the global start-up community. These submissions are thoroughly reviewed and scored by an Emaar jury, and 14 companies are invited for a live pitching event in Dubai. Following a competitive evaluation, winners are determined based on their knowledge of new technologies, environmentally friendly practices, and capacity for creative thought.
